The Prayer Chaplain Ministry is one of the most empowering, life transcending, and dynamic ministries that takes place at Unity Church of Peace.  What once began as a vision by long time minister Rev. Leilani Burt to invite and empower congregants into holding spiritual space and praying with each other, has turned into a program called, “Light and Love Ministries”, with hundreds of ministries that have been created worldwide, including the one at Unity Church of Peace.

The purpose of the Prayer Chaplain Ministry is to serve the prayer needs of the spiritual community by holding a sacred spiritual space, lovingly listening, praying from the heart, and holding in confidence what is shared.  Through the Prayer Chaplain’s work and commitment to the program, an awareness of our own inherent divine-potential becomes self-realized, and an ability to let go of false beliefs and error thoughts is created in the lives of those whom they pray with.

The Prayer Chaplains all have a special purpose and uniqueness they bring to the prayer ministry.  Together, through dedicated service and commitment to the program, they are able to serve the spiritual community in a variety of ways.  The Prayer Chaplains at Unity Church of Peace are available to pray with you at our weekly services, and through wellness calling, when desired.  The Prayer Chaplain Ministry also facilitates a special healing service at the Church once a quarter for those seeking a deeper Truth in consciousness.

You may also request to pray with one of our Prayer Chaplains by calling and leaving a message at (314) 631-2466, Ext. 3, and a Prayer Chaplain will return your call as soon as possible.

“A spiritual realization of the Truth through prayer is the recognition that we are more than our current life circumstances and limiting thoughts.” – Chris Czarnecki
