Tree of Life
You can purchase a leaf on the Tree of Life to honor a loved one or for whatever purpose you wish.
Twice a year, in the fall and the spring, our church hosts a special fundraiser, called a Tailgate Sale, on a Saturday morning, from 8:00 a.m. to noon. Spaces on our parking lot are rented for only $15 a piece, and long tables can be rented for $10 a piece. Venders are assigned the spaces for their vehicles on a first come, first serve basis. All proceeds are kept by the venders. Be sure to let your friends and family know that they may rent a space, too. This is a wonderful opportunity to release the old and make way for the new, while you prosper. If you have any questions, please contact the church office.
There are free Schnucks cards available on the table in the front of the church. Once you activate your card, indicate Unity Church of Peace as the preferred charitable institution. Schnucks will then donate to our church up to 3 cents for every dollar you spend. Don’t forget to scan your card before paying!
Attention all Macy’s Shoppers!
Macy’s is one of the stores now participating in the e-script program that we offer here at Unity. Call 1-800-931-6258 to register your Macy’s credit card, and the church will receive up to 3% of your purchase.
Internet Search Engine
There is a new way to provide for our church when using the internet. It’s free to you, and simple to use. It is called GoodSearch.
To take part in this fundraiser, you must use Internet Explorer on your computer. From Explorer, go to www.goodsearch.com and type in Unity Church of Peace as your choice of charity. Click the button to add GoodSearch to your toolbar as your search engine of choice.
Each time you perform a computer search using GoodSearch, the church receives a donation. The really neat thing about this site is that it also allows you to view the amount of contributions we earn by simply checking out the Web site.
UCOP is currently using this search engine in the church office, and we haven’t had any problems with it. Help us help our church as you browse the internet!
Ink Cartridges
Please bring to the church any empty ink cartridges and cell phones that you are no longer using to be recycled . We have a container in the foyer for them.
